Naturalist's Guide to Butterflies of Australia promo

After a long wait….my book is finally out!

My latest release, and my sixth book in the wonderful Naturalist’s Guide series, is out now. Co-authored with the wonderful Rachel Whitlock, published by John Beaufoy Publishing and kindly endorsed by Australia Geographic, this compact and informative guide to Australia’s beautiful butterflies is available from leading bookstores, and signed copies can be purchase from my online store.

About the book

This easy-to-use identification guide to 301 species/genera of Australian butterflies is perfect for residents and visitors alike. High quality photographs from top nature photographers are accompanied by detailed species descriptions, which include nomenclature, wingspan, identification, distribution, habitat and habits. The user-friendly introduction covers the rise of Australian butterflies, pests and pollinators, glossary and life cycle. Also included is a checklist of Australia’s butterfly species and the states and territories they can be found.

I’m very pleased to read that the book “…is a handy and practical guide to most of the butterflies you are likely to see in Australia, easily carried in the field and well illustrated. “

The book was kindly reviewed by Guy Padfiel on the Dispar Org Website, which you can read in full here.
