From Singer Songwriter to Birder & Best-Selling Author

R. Bruce made his living as an internationally touring comedian and singer/songwriter, but later became an avid birder. In 2015 he embarked on a year-long, life-changing trip around Australia with his wife, Lynne, during which he saw over 630 bird species. The adventure became the subject of his best-selling book, ‘An Australian Birding Year’, which was released by John Beaufoy Publishing in October 2020.
