On Tuesday 2nd April I gave a talk to the Illawarra Birders birdwatching group at the meeting hall in Coniston, NSW. Here is the blurb that the Illawarra Birders put up on their site's calendar: "Speaker Peter Rowland – “Australia's Birdwatching Megaspots”. Peter Rowland discusses his research and travels around Australia over the past 25+ years, and how these have culminated in his latest bird book Australia's Birdwatching Megaspots, written in partnership with Chris Farrell and with the invaluable assistance of other field researchers, photographers and designers. The talk will be accompanied by some of the images used in the book, and a short video."

There was a good crowd on the night and it was wonderful to chat to several of the members in attendance. The Illawarra Birders do regular outings and the group meets once a month in their Coniston hall. They are always happy to welcome new members and guest speakers. I am looking forward to talking again soon. Thank you so much to the Illawarra Birders management committee for asking me to attend.

I will post a couple of short videos from the night on my YouTube channel soon...
